Bengali Association of South Africa (BASA) was founded in the year 2005 in Johannesburg, South Africa with an objective to foster a strong commitment among the Indian expatriates to promote Bengali Culture, Heritage and to reinforce our future generation with Indian values. To achieve this endeavor BASA organizes from time to time various cultural events, festivals and social activities with an aim to provide exposure to the rich tradition and heritage of Bengal.
